Challenge
Leibur is a market leader in bread & bakery sector in Estonia, a company with more than 250 years of history and a selection of strong brands as well as some of the most favorite products in the market. Target One was engaged to assess the market opportunities, analyze the health of current brand & product portfolio in order to accelerate growth in a stagnating market and create efficiencies throughout the organization (primary focus on sales, marketing and production).
Approach
Having previously defined the value proposition for umbrella brand (Leibur), Target One concluded a thorough analysis of market structure, trends and consumer needs in the Bread Category. Based on current performance of Leibur portfolio, we worked together with the client to update the brand architecture and developed a practical portfolio operating model as well as the action plan to accelerate growth for priority brands. Further recommendations on portfolio development, brand positioning, sales & marketing execution and business process optimization were agreed.
